Frequently asked questions

What can I send as a thever.ge link?
A supported theverge.com URL, whether it leads to a story, review or another page. The short link opens that original address. This service is free and needs no registration.
Which domains are supported?
Supported domains: theverge.com. Links to their subdomains are also accepted.
Do short links expire?
Short links are intended for long-term use, but continued availability is not guaranteed. A short link cannot restore a destination page that has been removed.
Are there any usage limits?
The service is free. Request rate limits help prevent abuse. If you reach a limit, wait a moment before trying again.
Are short links safe to open?
We only accept links to supported domains, but this does not guarantee that the content is safe. Check the destination before entering personal information or running downloaded files.
Can I view click statistics?
thever.ge does not provide click statistics. To create links you can edit, delete and track, purchase an S.EE plan. Links created here are not added to your S.EE account.
How can I get help?
This service is operated by S.EE. For questions or to report a link, contact S.EE.
Can the person I send it to read the full story?
The short link opens the source page. Any login or subscription requirements on that page still apply; thever.ge does not change access to the article.

Only the history in this browser will be deleted. This does not disable the short link.
To disable a link, contact S.EE. To create links you can manage yourself, choose a paid S.EE plan.
